Artistic discoveries move me forward.

How we perceive the world becomes our reality. I may be forever influenced by an elementary school teacher who pointed out that we can never top out on anything; there is always a higher level to strive for. My father also may have nurtured that streak of perfectionism. So my eyes always look for a way to make something better.

I bring that manner of seeing things to this, my second career, my long sought foothold at the base of another mountain to scale (without topping out, of course). That mountain is the refinement of my own artist expression through the multi-faceted specialty of “decorative finishing”. I thrive on transforming blank walls into rich backdrops for artwork, fabrics and furnishings. Even more, I love the challenge of creating timeless murals and clever trompe l’oeil effects.
